Project Scope
- Network door controllers, NFC readers, and power supply equipment.
- CAT5e/CAT6 cabling, RJ45 terminations, and low-voltage device connections.
- Installation support within conduit, junction box, and pull box infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test CAT5e/CAT6 cabling.
- Perform RJ45 terminations, cable certification, and network connectivity testing.
- Install and connect door controllers, NFC tap points, and other access control devices.
- Label, dress, and organize structured cabling.
- Assist with controller commissioning, system verification, and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret floor plans, wiring diagrams, and project documentation.
- Maintain installation quality standards and documentation.
Experience & Qualifications
- Structured cabling and low-voltage installation experience.
- Proficient with CAT5e/CAT6 terminations and testing.
- Experience with access control systems preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
Requirements
- Available for 12-hour day shifts, Sunday through Thursday.
- Able to travel for the duration of the project.
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work from ladders and lifts as needed.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr.
