About the Role

A large health system in Boise, Idaho is seeking both Outpatient and Inpatient Neurologists to join their robust neurology team. This opportunity offers a collaborative, flexible, and forward-looking environment within one of the fastest-growing regions in the country. The neurology team includes dedicated inpatient and outpatient teams with subspecialties such as movement disorders, ALS, epilepsy, EEG, EMG, neuromuscular medicine, sleep medicine, and neuro-ophthalmology. The system is expanding services across the Treasure Valley, providing ample opportunities for clinical engagement.

Candidates interested in developing subspecialty clinics in MS, cognitive/behavioral neurology, headache, or neuro-oncology are encouraged to apply. While the team is well-staffed in neurophysiology, most other subspecialty interests can be supported within the context of General Neurology.

Outpatient Neurology

• 32 hours of patient care and 8 hours of administrative time per week (flexible scheduling)
• Large and growing group of neurologists with subspecialty and general neurology interests
• Opportunity to develop dedicated clinics in MS and Cognitive Neurology with strong support
• Neuro-oncology, headache, and Sports/TBI interests also supported
• Infusion center and neurodiagnostic support services available
• No hospital call; only responsible for your own clinic patients

Inpatient Neurology

• Consult-only inpatient service at a community hospital location
• Monday to Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No nights, weekends, or call responsibilities
• Majority of volume consists of stroke cases; Neurocritical Care patients managed by the Boise inpatient team
• Future potential to transition to a 7-on/7-off model or rotate with the Boise team as service demands grow
• Ideal candidate will be stroke fellowship trained, though neurologists with strong stroke experience are also welcome
