About the role
A well-established, physician-owned multispecialty medical group practice is seeking two Outpatient Neurologists to join its growing neurology practice in Northern New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a neurologist who wants to build a long-term practice in a highly desirable area with strong primary care referral relationships and excellent clinical support.
Responsibilities
- General Neurology practice
- Specialization in EMG procedures
- Broad subspecialty expertise encouraged (Headache, Movement Disorders, Dementia/Cognitive Disorders, EMG/Neuromuscular Disorders)
- Flexible clinic scheduling with start time tailored to physician preference
- No hospital call or inpatient service requirement
- Strong emphasis on physician autonomy and work-life balance
- Built-in referral base with the group's primary care practices generating substantial neurology referrals
- Onsite MRI services and infusion capabilities available
- Shared Epic EMR integration with two affiliated hospitals, providing seamless access to hospital resources and medical records for clinic patients who are admitted
- Two-year salary guarantee starting compensation model, with productivity-based model and bonus opportunity (uncapped) available long-term
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- A valid New Jersey Medical License
- Board certification in Neurology
- At least 3 years of post-residency experience
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with EMG procedures
- Broad subspecialty expertise (Headache, Movement Disorders, Dementia/Cognitive Disorders, EMG/Neuromuscular Disorders)
- Experience with EMG specialist having dedicated procedure day with tech support
- Experience with shared Epic EMR integration with two affiliated hospitals
