Job Description
This position is for 12+ months, with option of extension, and will be worked mostly remote within the State of WI. Candidate must work CST business hours.
Top Required Skills & Years of Experience
- Installation, maintenance, administration and monitoring of the WebSphere Software in a multi-platform environment (Linux and Windows) – 5+ years
- Proactive resolution of problems and/or alerts received by various monitoring and management systems
- Resolution of connectivity problems, assisting users, and debugging problems
- Hands-on technical experience in support of software tools such as WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Portal
Nice To Have Skills
- Provide a broad range of technical skills in support of all WebSphere customers
- Training and/or experience with scripting tools such as Bash, Korn, and Jython
- Knowledge of change management best practices in a complex hosting environment
Responsibilities
- Provide support for various departments’ applications running on WebSphere and IBM WebSphere MQ
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, support, and configuration of hardware and software
- Responsible for application deployments
- Maintain and update infrastructure documentation
- Complete implementation of security policies and filters associated with the tools
- Provide additional troubleshooting support
Qualifications/Required Skills
