Job Summary

Accucare Nursing and Home Care is seeking a 1:1 Nurse to provide care in the home for a patient with specific needs. This position offers flexible scheduling options and includes pet cats in the home.

About the Role

This role involves providing comprehensive care to a patient with a gastrostomy, non-ambulatory, non-verbal condition, and seizure activity. The position requires a strong background in nursing and the ability to work independently in a 1:1 setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care to a patient with specific medical needs
• Manage patient's daily activities and medications
• Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies
• Collaborate with the patient's family and healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols

Requirements

• NYS Nursing licensure
• Computer literacy
• Completion of onboarding and training
• Ability to complete nursing notes before the end of the shift
• Malpractice insurance
