Job Summary

Accucare Nursing and Home Care is seeking a 1:1 Nurse to provide care in the home of a patient with specific needs. The position offers flexible scheduling and includes pet cats in the home.

About the Role

This role involves providing comprehensive care to a patient with a gastrostomy, non-ambulatory, non-verbal condition, and seizure activity. The nurse will work weekends and undergo patient-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing care in the patient's home
• Work with a patient who has a gastrostomy, non-ambulatory, non-verbal condition, and seizure activity
• Handle pet cats in the home
• Participate in patient-specific training
• Assist with other cases/shifts in surrounding areas (contact for more details)

Requirements

• NYS Nursing licensure required
• Must be computer literate
• Completion of onboarding required prior to training
• Must be able to complete nursing notes prior to the end of the shift
• Must have malpractice insurance

Compensation

$45/hr
