1:1 SCHOOL NURSE, UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR (ALL NYC)

About the role

Our client is building their RN team for the upcoming school year and seeks experienced nurses to provide 1:1 care for medically fragile students in NYC schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one nursing services to a medically fragile student throughout the school day
• Support students with needs that may include seizure care, diabetes management, G-tube feeding, suctioning, oxygen administration, ventilator support, pulse oximetry, medication administration, and other skilled interventions
• Ride the bus with the student if required by the assignment
• Partner with school personnel, family members, and care teams
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with DOE and NYS requirements

Qualifications

• Active NYS RN license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Pediatric, school-based, home care, or community-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and independent clinical judgment
