Responsibilities
- Provide continuous 1:1 nursing care during the school day
- Monitor and respond to seizure activity
- Manage and monitor G-tube feedings and care
- Assess and support respiratory status related to asthma
- Provide incontinence care as needed
- Assist with positioning, mobility, and wheelchair safety
- Monitor for changes in condition and implement appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate health documentation
- Collaborate with school personnel, therapists, parents/guardians, and healthcare providers
- Promote student safety, comfort, and participation in the educational environment
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN License
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- School Nurse Experience
- Strong assessment and communication skills
