The Orchard Park Central School District is seeking a Teacher Aide/Probationary/Part-time position starting September 2, 2026.
About the role
This position involves working at the Middle School, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:15 pm.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom activities
- Supervise students during breaks and transitions
- Support special education programs as needed
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma
- Four (4) years of experience and knowledge in a particular field where specialized duties are involved
- An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) & (B)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a relevant field
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy
Benefits
The position offers competitive pay based on OPSRPA bargaining agreement, currently set at $16.69 per hour.

$16.69 per hour
Schedule
Part-time, 10-month civil service non-competitive appointment.
