About the role

As a Store Manager, you will bring your leadership, talents, and experience to a team-oriented and dynamic environment. Your role is to manage talent, inspire your team, and ensure every customer comes away with a great experience. You will ensure that each customer receives an unforgettable experience and a custom-fit solution for their hair and beauty needs.

You will oversee all store operations with an emphasis on maintaining the assigned budget, controlling expenses, growing sales, and managing inventory to meet or exceed sales goals. You will protect customers, associates, and store assets by ensuring all staff follows safety and security rules and procedures, as well as Company policies. You will also ensure your store always looks its best.

Responsibilities

• Manage talent and inspire your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure the store meets or exceeds sales goals by overseeing operations, budget, expenses, and inventory.
• Protect customers, associates, and store assets by enforcing safety, security, and Company policies.
• Maintain store appearance and presentation.
• Drive results and develop team associates through coaching and innovation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience.
• 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Self-starter attitude with a drive to continuously learn, develop, and educate store personnel and customers.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for all things hair and beauty.
• Cosmetology license is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional exposure to irritant chemicals, fumes, or odors.
