About the role

As a Store Manager at CosmoProf, you will lead a team of salon professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales. Your responsibilities include managing store operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage talent, inspire your team, and ensure every customer leaves with a memorable experience.
• Oversee all store operations, focusing on meeting or exceeding sales goals, controlling expenses, growing sales, and managing inventory.
• Protect customers, associates, and store assets by enforcing safety and security rules and procedures, as well as company policies.
• Maintain a visually appealing store environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience and 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Previous experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• A cosmetology license is preferred but not required.
• A self-starter attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
• Passion for hair and beauty.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder.
• Exposure to fumes and odors may occur.
• Some physical exertion such as standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities.
• Lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Working around moving parts, carts, or machines.

Skills

Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to motivate and develop team members are essential. Proficiency in managing budgets and inventory, along with a keen eye for detail, are also required.
