Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Strong understanding of design quality engineering principles and practices

  • Proficient in using design quality tools and software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to design quality

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to sit for extended periods
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Typical Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in design quality engineering
  • Proven track record of successfully leading design quality initiatives
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, and quality departments
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining design quality processes and standards

Typical Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
