About the role
As a Store Manager at CosmoProf, you will lead a team of salon professionals to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Your responsibilities include managing store operations, achieving sales targets, ensuring safety and security, and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and inspire a team to exceed sales goals and maintain budget and expense controls
- Ensure all staff follow safety and security rules and procedures, and adhere to company policies
- Oversee store operations to maintain a clean and inviting appearance
- Provide ongoing training and development for store associates and customers
- Protect customers, associates, and store assets
Requirements
- At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience and 1 year of previous sales management experience
- Previous experience in operational, financial, and performance management
- Self-starter attitude with a drive to continuously learn and develop
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Passion for hair and beauty
Qualifications
- Cosmetology license is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder
- Exposure to fumes and odors upon occasion
Skills
Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to motivate and train a team are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a keen eye for detail are also beneficial.
