About the Role

As a Store Manager at CosmoProf, you will lead a team-oriented and dynamic environment, driving results and developing team associates. Your role is pivotal in managing talent, inspiring your team, and ensuring every customer receives an unforgettable experience with custom-fit solutions for their hair and beauty needs. You will oversee all store operations, including meeting or exceeding sales goals, maintaining budgets, controlling expenses, growing sales, and managing inventory. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with safety and security rules, company policies, and maintain the store's appearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and inspire store team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure the store meets or exceeds sales goals and maintains assigned budget.
• Control expenses and manage inventory effectively.
• Protect customers, associates, and store assets by enforcing safety, security, and company policies.
• Maintain store appearance to high standards.
• Oversee operational, financial, and performance management.
• Develop and educate store personnel and customers to enhance success.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience.
• 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Cosmetology license is a plus but not required.
• Self-starter attitude with a drive to continuously learn and develop.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional exposure to irritant chemicals and fumes/odors.
