About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supervising and supporting the direction and planning of associates' daily goals and activities to deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage store operations, and maintain brand standards.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise associates to maximize sales and customer loyalty, ensure brand standards are met, and resolve customer issues.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit candidates, coach associates, and maintain positive relations.

• 30% Operations: Ensure process execution, utilize digital strategies, manage inventory, and follow company directives.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect assets, and comply with HAZMAT training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• At least 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred

• Ability to lead or support a team of associates

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
