About the role

As a Sally Beauty Advisor, you’ll be part of the world’s largest hair and beauty supplier, helping customers express themselves through hair. Your primary focus will be creating a memorable shopping experience by assisting customers with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, nails, and more. Sally Beauty provides extensive product knowledge training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend complementary products and inform customers about promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales.
• Educate customers about and enroll them in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and report inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to apply product knowledge training to assist customers.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes, odors, moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasionally irritant chemicals.

The position requires physical exertion, including long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and recurring lifting of moderately heavy items.
