About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all areas, including brand, people, and operations, while also assuming primary duties when the Store Manager is not present.
Responsibilities
Brands: Supervise and plan associate activities to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.
People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Recruit and manage associates, addressing their strengths and opportunities. Maintain positive relations and ensure compliance with policies.
Operations: Execute company processes, manage inventory, schedule staff, and ensure store procedures are followed. Manage payroll and handle safety and loss prevention responsibilities.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience
Ability to lead or support a team
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
