About the role

As a Sally Beauty Advisor, you’ll create a memorable shopping experience for customers, helping them express themselves through hair, cosmetics, skin care, or nails. Sally Beauty provides extensive product knowledge training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend complementary products and inform customers of promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales.
• Enroll customers in the Loyalty program and complete transactions accurately.
• Maintain a professional store environment and report inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Available to meet scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Apply product knowledge training to assist customers.
• Read and explain product labels.
• Follow directions and perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional irritant chemicals or fumes.
