About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing a team of associates to achieve business objectives, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Brands: Supervise and support associates in achieving sales and KPIs, ensuring brand standards are met, and resolving customer issues.

• People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit candidates, coach associates, and maintain positive relationships with peers and management.

• Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, manage inventory and payroll, and execute digital strategies.

• Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

• Minimum 1+ year(s) prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
