About the Role
The Beauty Advisor/Sales Associate creates a memorable shopping experience for customers by assisting with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, nails, and more. You’ll bring your passion and personality, while we provide the knowledge and training to help customers on their beauty journey.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
- Recommend complementary products and inform customers of promotions and events.
- Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales.
- Educate customers about and enroll them in our Loyalty program.
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
- Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
- May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.
Working Conditions
The position requires physical exertion, including:
- Long periods of standing and walking.
- Recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
- Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items (e.g., shipment or record boxes).
- Working around moving parts, carts, or machines.
- Occasional exposure to irritant chemicals.
