About the role
As a Store Manager at Sally Beauty, you will manage talent, inspire your team, and ensure every customer receives an unforgettable experience with custom-fit solutions for their hair and beauty needs. You will oversee all store operations, including meeting or exceeding sales goals, maintaining budgets, controlling expenses, growing sales, and managing inventory. Your role includes protecting customers, associates, and store assets by enforcing safety and security rules, as well as ensuring the store always looks its best.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team-oriented environment to drive results and associate growth.
- Manage store operations, including financial and performance management.
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences and custom-fit solutions for hair and beauty needs.
- Meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining assigned budgets and controlling expenses.
- Oversee inventory management and store presentation.
- Enforce safety, security, and Company policies for customers, associates, and store assets.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience.
- 1 year of previous sales management experience.
- Experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
- Cosmetology license is a plus but not required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Passion for hair and beauty.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
- Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching.
- Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
- Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional exposure to irritant chemicals or fumes.
