About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing all store operations, developing and leading the team, and ensuring optimal customer experiences.
Responsibilities
30% Brand: Supervise and plan associate activities to maximize sales and customer loyalty, ensure brand standards are met, and resolve customer issues.
30% People: Engage, train, and develop the team, recruit candidates, coach associates, maintain positive relations, and ensure compliance with company policies.
30% Operations: Manage store processes, execute digital strategies, manage payroll, and ensure store procedures are followed.
10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Ensure store safety, protect company assets, analyze reports, and comply with HAZMAT training.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Age 18 or older
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience
Minimum 1+ year(s) prior management experience
Ability to lead or support a team
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
