About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards. They also engage, train, and develop their teams to achieve positive results.
Responsibilities
30% Brand: Supervise and plan associates' daily goals to deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage brand standards, and resolve customer issues.
30% People: Support the Store Manager in managing team dynamics, recruiting, coaching, and maintaining positive relationships with associates and peers.
30% Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, utilize digital strategies, manage inventory, and handle payroll and scheduling.
10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business
Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
