About the role
The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all areas, including brand, people, and operations, while also assuming primary responsibility when the Store Manager is absent.
Responsibilities
Brand: Supervise and plan associates' daily goals and activities to maximize sales and customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met and resolve customer issues.
People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Recruit and manage associates, addressing strengths and opportunities. Maintain positive relations and ensure compliance with policies.
Operations: Manage store processes, digital strategies, and inventory. Schedules associates and ensures compliance with company directives.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years old
At least 3+ years of retail sales/customer service experience
At least 1+ year of prior management experience
Ability to lead or support a team
Effective communication skills
Scheduling availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
