About the role

As a Sally Beauty Advisor, you will create a memorable shopping experience for our customers, guiding them through their beauty journey with expertise in hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails. We provide the knowledge and training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to apply product knowledge training to support customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Must be able to follow direction and perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional irritant chemicals or fumes.
