About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing the team, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise and plan associates' daily goals to maximize sales and customer loyalty, ensuring all brand standards are met.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop the team, manage team accountability, and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.

• 30% Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, manage inventory and payroll, and maintain store security.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred

• Ability to lead or support a team of associates

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
