ZZZ - Pharmacy Intern, Full Time Day

Essential Functions

• Affords assistance in medication preparation, repackaging, and distribution under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.
• Supports medication reconciliation and clinical oversight to ensure medications are secure and efficacious.
• Complies with state and federal regulations.
• Reports directly to the Director of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in or recently graduated from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy or FPEGC certified.
• Licensed to practice pharmacy as required by the state.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting preferred.
• Basic understanding of computers and their use in prescription order processing with minimal word processing skills.
