Zoomazium Instructor (Part-Time)
About the Role
This position will average 18 hours per week; shifts are anticipated to go from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday, and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm or 10:30 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Primary Responsibilities
- Support visitors to ensure a positive zoo experience.
- Support Zoomazium operations and public programming.
- Maintain an environment aimed at the safety and well-being of Zoomazium guests, following all safety protocols.
- Present creative, mission-driven programming.
- Facilitate day-to-day operations for Zoomazium including opening procedures, closing procedures, and responding to incidents.
Qualifications
- One (1) or more years of combined education and experience in early childhood, natural science, or environmental education.
- Provide crowd control, group management, and basic customer service.
- Basic computer, communication, and mathematics skills.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and live in Washington State.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $22.50 per hour; FLSA non-exempt
- Schedule: This position will average 18 hours per week; shifts are anticipated to go from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday, and 9:00 am to 2:00 pm or 10:30 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
