Primary Responsibilities
As an unarmed Security Officer at DK Security, your duties are determined by the client location. Some responsibilities may include:
- Access Control - Ensure only authorized individuals are given access to the site. This could be based on appointments, ID cards, etc.
- Extensive Patrolling - Walk the interior and/or exterior of the various buildings on the site, keeping an eye out for security, safety, or maintenance issues.
- Camera Monitoring - Monitor CCTV for safety and security concerns across the site.
- Customer Service - Always enforce rules and policies through de-escalation techniques and ensuring quality customer service in every interaction.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
- Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
- Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified.
- Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record. (Required for driving sites)
- Less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- Less than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
- No other major violations in the last 3 years.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
