Position Overview
The Retail Zone Team Leader is responsible for guiding and directing the operation of a specific zone within a store's retail sales floor. This role involves overseeing a team dedicated to merchandising and selling products, as well as ensuring high-quality customer and associate experiences.
Responsibilities
- Execute established procedures for the assigned zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery.
- Ensure that store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
- Oversee the process to ensure merchandise is planned for and received, and the sales floor is properly stocked.
- Schedule and staff associates effectively to unload and process merchandise, drive productivity, assign tasks, and maintain customer service standards.
- Supervise and communicate company directives to ensure all associated tasks are completed.
- Perform all Team Leader functions to open and close the store, and fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a mid-to-large-size retailer is preferred.
- A positive attitude and ability to interact well with both customers and associates are essential.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Standing for extended periods and maintaining alertness and safety.

Pay and Schedule
The starting pay range for this position is $17.50-$18.50 per hour, with actual pay based on work location, position, experience, skill level, and other relevant factors.
