Position Overview
The Retail Zone Team Leader is responsible for guiding and directing the operation of a specific zone within a store's retail sales floor. This role involves overseeing a team dedicated to merchandising and selling products, as well as ensuring high-quality customer and associate experiences.
Responsibilities
- Execute established procedures for the assigned zone, including merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery.
- Ensure that store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
- Oversee the process to ensure merchandise is planned for and received, and the sales floor is properly stocked.
- Ensure proper scheduling and staffing for effective unload/processing of merchandise to the sales floor, driving associate productivity, daily task assignment, and customer service standards.
- Supervise associates within the assigned zone, communicating company directives to ensure follow-up is completed.
- Perform all Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
- A positive attitude and ability to interact well with customers and associates.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, and maintain alertness and safety.

Pay and Schedule
This pay represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Pay ranges may vary by location. New Hire Starting Pay: $18.25 - $19.25. Associate pay will be based on work location, position, experience, skill level, qualifications, and other relevant factors. This position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
