Zone Lead - FT

About the role

The Zone Lead (ZL) reports to the Assistant Store Manager and supports merchandising in designated zones and maintains an active selling culture by ensuring that all visual aspects are set and upheld to documented company standards designed to drive sales.

The ZL provides expertise in visual standards, merchandising techniques, fixturing, and implementation of all in-store marketing elements that reinforce seasons/holidays and in-store promotions within their designated areas.

Responsibilities

• Supports all aspects of the visual merchandising processes for the store by planning and leading transitions, reinventions, product assortment changes, and resets while maintaining visual integrity and a neat/clean, organized environment.
• Supports Task Management by planning and executing the daily/weekly workload and assigned tasks as delegated by the Assistant Store Manager to deliver on visual merchandising, department and store sales goals, guest engagement, etc.
• Participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and/or transitions, including processing freight sorts, stocking product, and maintaining a neat, clean, organized zone.
• Supports the store team in areas such as customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention expense control, and customer experience.
• Serves as a role model and coach in all areas related to visual merchandising experience and provides continuous learning opportunities to all team members.
• Reviews the store's financial and business data and acts within assigned zones to improve metrics.
• Ensures the maintenance of a neat, clean, organized zone, including current signing and sets.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Background Check will be completed
• Open Availability (require nights and weekends)

Qualifications

• Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. as well as to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time and to bend, climb, and reach at times
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively independently and within a team
• Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior
• Ability to comprehend, train, develop, motivate, and lead in a manner that fosters a work environment that is smart & scrappy, safe, and fun
