Z DRAMA ASSISTANT

About the role

Seeking Drama Assistant for Spring Musical with experience in music/vocal directing. This role helps create a safe, positive, and creative environment where students can build confidence, learn performance skills, and develop teamwork.

Responsibilities

• After school auditions and rehearsals from December - April on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM (some flexibility).
• Tech Week rehearsals held the week before the show will run 3:30 - 8:30 PM.

Requirements

• All part-time extracurricular employees must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Minimum three (3) years documented experience working in theatrical performing arts, particularly for young audiences.
• Strong understanding of directing vocal music for young singers.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage large groups of students.
• Passion for and commitment to creating high-quality theatrical experiences for young audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in music or related field from a regionally accredited program/university.

Skills

• Previous experience working with beginning level singers (preferred).
