Z-Dock-associate ll- Warehouse

About the role

This position assists in the offloading, receiving, shipping, storage, and distribution of products in a warehouse environment. Daily tasks involve bar code scan applications that record movement, receipt, and status changes to inventory. Timely and efficient completion of job duties and safe operation of industrial power equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers are critical.

Responsibilities

• Receive, transport, and stock inbound products from manufacturing facilities and suppliers, including physical lifting and movement by powered and manual lift equipment.
• Accurately place and stack stock for storage in designated areas, recording stock locations into the perpetual inventory system.
• Fulfill orders by locating, transporting, offloading, and scanning outbound product from storage to shipping lanes for distribution to consumers, dealers, and other destinations.
• Match serialized product to orders, upload items to manifests, or transfer locations in the proprietary system using secure IT network and equipment.
• Perform inventory cycle counts daily, weekly, or monthly to meet company compliance requirements.
• Operate heavy industrial power equipment and perform duties at heights requiring fall protection, combined with physical requirements and heavy lifting.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and comply with all safety regulations.

Performance in this role is essential to the daily operation of the Z-Dock. Execution of outbound tasks within required time frames is critical for meeting company commitments to customers, dealer partners, third-party delivery providers, and shareholders. Timely and accurate receipt and stocking of inbound product impacts inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and scheduling of delivery and distribution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience with 1–2 years’ experience in delivery, warehousing, receiving, issuing, packing, shipping, and/or storage of goods.
• Forklift certification required; experience using a cherry picker is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to move heavy items (up to 350 lbs.) for several hours consecutively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of inventory procedures.
• Understanding of proper methods and procedures for safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping, and delivery.
• Familiarity with internal control procedures for receiving product against purchase orders and packing slips, including reconciliation actions.
• Experience with furniture delivery and repair.

Physical Demands

• Nearly continuously stand, balance, reach overhead, pull, push, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Often perform repetitive hand motion, walking, bending, stooping, listening, talking, climbing stairs and ladders, crawling, and operating industry equipment.
