YouthWorks Coordinator

About the role

The YouthWorks Coordinator position plays a crucial role in managing and developing youth workforce programs within Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania. This role involves overseeing staff, ensuring program adherence to guidelines, and providing necessary training and support.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with program staff to implement short and long-term plans for YouthWorks services.
• Oversee and manage the work of program staff, encouraging ongoing professional development.
• Ensure all programs comply with relevant guidelines and maintain necessary credentials, certifications, and compliance.
• Provide specific training, support, and supervision to participants, ensuring their needs are met, goals are implemented, and a safe environment is maintained.
• Travel may be required, including some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Human Services, Social Services, Business/Management, or a related field, with 4 years of experience in human services, workforce development, and working with at-risk youth between 14-24 years old.
• Or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Services, Business/Management, or a related field, with 2 years of experience in the same areas.

Qualifications

• Candidates must provide current valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) before starting employment.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
