Youth Treatment Counselor

About the role

The Youth Treatment Counselor collaborates with educational and clinical teams to deliver individualized academic and social-emotional support to children, ensuring therapeutic and safe learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans and IEPs
• Manage classroom behavior
• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction
• Support positive behavior strategies
• Maintain safety and follow behavior management procedures
• Assist with classroom and student engagement strategies
• Complete required trainings such as QMAP, TCI, and NM
• Support quality improvement efforts

Qualifications & Skills

• B.A. in Human Services or related field
• Experience with children with special needs preferred
• Valid Colorado driver's license or qualification to obtain one
• Ability to implement behavioral interventions and complete physical requirements
• Commitment to inclusivity and adherence to organizational policies

Pay

$23.00 to $26.00 per hour
