Youth Support Shift Lead

About the role

At Crossroads Programs, Inc, we provide safe and supportive residential treatment opportunities and therapeutic services to empower youth ages 5 to 21. Hope Homes – Timber House is a therapeutic environment focusing on individualized care and support for adolescents aged 14 to 21.

Responsibilities

• Oversees shift operations, assigns duties, and motivates staff to maintain a structured and nurturing environment.
• Works directly with youth facing behavioral health challenges, providing trauma-informed and strength-based support.
• Designs and leads life skills and educational activities tailored to each youth’s needs and strengths.
• Evaluates youth in daily functioning to customize services.
• Provides transport, reinforces social skills, and serves as a mentor and on-call support when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in social work, Human Services, Psychology, or Counseling
• Minimum of 2 years working directly with youth in an out-of-home treatment setting
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Physical & Drug Screening, Criminal Record History, FBI, and Child Abuse History Clearances
