Youth Sports Coach - Tennis

About the role

TGA Premier Sports offers a national, school-based enrichment program that brings tennis directly to children ages 3-14 years old across Wake and Durham counties. Classes typically occur on school campuses during after-school hours (between 2:00-5:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Work with children ages 3-14 in a variety of settings (schools, camps, babysitting, etc.)
• Engage in play and activities that help kids grow and develop
• Communicate effectively with administrators and parents
• Follow the provided curriculum and training materials
• Transport equipment to and from class as needed

Requirements

• Strong passion for working with children and helping them grow
• Willingness to step out of your comfort zone and engage like a kid when needed
• Great communication skills and a positive, reliable, professional attitude
• Experience working with children in any setting (schools, camps, babysitting, volunteering, etc.)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Qualifications

• No prior coaching experience required — we provide all curriculum and training for Tennis
• Passionate about sports, movement, and keeping kids active
