Youth Sports Coach - Golf

About the role

TGA Premier Sports offers a national, school-based enrichment program that brings golf directly to children ages 3-14 years old across Wake and Durham counties. Classes typically occur on school campuses during after-school hours (between 2:00-5:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Work with children ages 3-14 years old
• Engage in fun, interactive activities that promote physical activity and sportsmanship
• Communicate effectively with administrators and parents
• Follow the provided curriculum and training materials

Requirements

• Strong passion for working with children and helping them grow
• Willingness to step out of your comfort zone and be playful
• Great communication skills
• A positive, reliable, and professional attitude
• Genuine passion for sports, movement, and keeping kids active
• No prior coaching experience required — TGA provides all curriculum and training

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in any setting (schools, camps, babysitting, volunteering, etc.)
• Afternoon (around 2:30-5:30pm) availability (2-5 days per week)
• Ability to work short shifts (typically 1-3 hours per day)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to transport equipment to and from class
• Ability to complete onboarding paperwork promptly (processing takes several weeks)
