Youth Sports Coach for Toddlers and Preschoolers

About the role

Join our team at Amazing Athletes JumpBunch of Southern CT as a Youth Sports Coach for toddlers and preschoolers. Teach children ages 18 months to 6 years the basic fundamentals of various sports in a fun and non-competitive environment. Encourage healthy habits and build confidence in young athletes.

Responsibilities

• Teach basic sports fundamentals to children aged 18 months to 6 years
• Create a fun and non-competitive learning environment
• Encourage healthy habits and confidence building
• Work with toddlers and preschool-aged children (professional experience preferred but not mandatory)
• Ensure classes are held in the mornings and early afternoons

Requirements

• Reliable to work a set schedule, flexible on days of the week
• Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children (preferred but not mandatory)
• A positive attitude and love for sports and teaching young children
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a clean criminal background check
• Reliable transportation for traveling to different locations within the community
• Upwards of 30 minutes long distance travel will be reimbursed
• CPR certification is a plus, though not required

Benefits

• Training pay: $17.00 per hour
• Fully trained pay: $21.00 per hour
• At least 1.5 hours of minimum pay each time worked
