Youth Sports Coach

About the role

We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach! Who will lead our children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct soccer sessions that align with our curriculum and philosophy
• Provide individual and group instructions to children aged 5‑12 years
• Foster a fun and positive learning environment for children
• Manage a group of up to 15 children in a session
• Communicate with parents and administrative staff as needed
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during sessions
• Use individual attention to ensure every child experiences success
• Employ a non‑competitive approach to keep classes fun and stress‑free
• Apply positive reinforcement to encourage improvement and celebrate success
• Maintain an open‑mindset, view coaching as a continuous journey, seek feedback, attend regular trainings, and follow the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children (sports coach, teacher, camper, or leader)
• Enjoys working with children
• Interest in pursuing early childhood education or child development
• Active, energetic, and enthusiastic personality
• Strong soccer/coaching background and experience playing or coaching
• Open to feedback and committed to ongoing improvement

Pay

$25 per hour up to $35 per hour.

Schedule

Flexible schedule: 2‑10 classes per week, including weekends and afternoons.
