Youth Sports Coach
About the role
We are seeking coaches for our multi-sport and soccer enrichment programs. Amazing Athletes, founded in 2003, is one of the nation's largest multi-sport enrichment programs with over 50,000 kids enrolled each year, serving students 18 months and older. Super Soccer Stars has been operating for over 20 years with a fun curriculum designed to improve soccer skills, build confidence, and develop socialization skills, starting as young as 12 months old.
Our coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success, a non-competitive approach to keep classes fun and stress-free, and positive reinforcement to encourage children and celebrate their progress. Coaches have a blast, remain open-minded, and view coaching as a continuous journey, embracing feedback and striving for improvement through trainings and adherence to the Amazing Athletes and Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual & Curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Deliver ready-made curriculums for multi-sport and soccer enrichment programs
- Ensure every child experiences success through individual attention
- Create a fun, non-competitive, and stress-free environment
- Use positive reinforcement to encourage and celebrate children’s progress
- Travel to local program locations using reliable transportation
- Attend trainings and follow coaching manuals and curriculums
- Embrace feedback and continuously improve coaching skills
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Willing to travel to local locations with own reliable transportation
- Passion for sports, fitness, nutrition, and working with children
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a background check
Qualifications
- Background in basic sport fundamentals (added bonus)
- Experience working with children (added bonus)
Pay
$18/hour for training and $20/hour after training.
Schedule
Saturday mornings from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
