Youth Sports Coach

About the role

We are looking to hire an energetic and fun-loving Soccer Coach! Who will lead our children in fun and educational activities while ensuring safety for all. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct soccer sessions that align with our curriculum and philosophy
• Provide individual and group instructions to children aged 5‑12 years
• Foster a fun and positive learning environment for children
• Manage a group of up to 15 children in a session
• Communicate with parents and administrative staff as needed
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during sessions
• Use individual attention to ensure every child has success
• Use a non‑competitive approach to keep classes fun and stress‑free
• Use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success
• Attend regular trainings and follow the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual
• Remain open‑minded, open to feedback, and strive for continuous improvement

Requirements

• Active, energetic and enthusiastic personality
• Strong soccer/coaching background and experience playing or coaching
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and afternoons

Pay

$25 per hour up to $35 per hour

Schedule

2‑10 classes per week; flexible hours including weekends and afternoons; work multiple classes per week based on availability.
