Youth Sports Coach

If you are an enthusiastic, dynamic, self-motivated, creative, and responsible individual who loves kids and sports, this is the opportunity for you! Amazing Athletes is the country's most popular educational sports program for children ages 2 to 12, offering classes year-round.

Schedule

Classes are scheduled in blocks from 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturday options available.

Pay

Compensation starts at $25 per hour and goes up to $40 per hour depending on your experience and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Teach the fundamentals of 10 different sports, including soccer, hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, football, track and field, baseball, and golf
• Incorporate lessons about nutrition and muscle groups to enhance motor skills and physical literacy
• Provide a fun and engaging learning environment for children to learn and grow
• Plan and execute age-appropriate activities and obstacle courses
• Actively engage with parents and caregivers to ensure a positive experience for all children and families
• Ensure that class materials and equipment are properly maintained and organized

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to local schools with your own reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be fun, energetic, patient, attentive, and reliable
• Passion for sports/fitness and working with children
• Prior experience working with children is a plus (e.g., preschool teachers, camp counselors, elementary education substitute teachers, coaches)
• Background in fitness is a plus (e.g., athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education)
