Youth Sports Coach

About the role

Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. Children need to have FUN while learning the FUNdamentals of sport. Our goal is to provide an experience where every child is an athlete. The long-term impact will create healthy habits at a young age, teach life skills and increase youth activity across the board.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-sport enrichment classes using individual attention to ensure every child has success
• Follow a non-competitive approach to keep classes fun and create a stress-free environment
• Use positive reinforcement to encourage children to improve and celebrate their success
• Attend trainings and follow the Amazing Athletes Coaching Manual & Curriculum
• Remain open-minded and committed to continuous improvement through feedback

Requirements

• Availability to coach 5–25 classes per week
• Flexibility to work mornings, early afternoons, and weekends
• Ideal availability during Monday–Friday: 9:00–11:00 am and 3:00–5:00 pm

Pay

• Starting rate: $20 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to $25 per hour
