Youth Sport Instructor (Ages 2-8)

About the role

Lead 30–50 minute high-energy soccer sessions for children ages 2–8 at preschools, daycares, parks, indoor facilities, community centers, and elementary schools. Create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment while teaching soccer skills and character development using our curriculum. Arrive 15 minutes early for setup, communicate positively with families, teachers, and staff, and follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead 30–50 minute soccer sessions for children ages 2–8
• Work at various locations including preschools, daycares, parks, indoor facilities, community centers, and elementary schools
• Create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment
• Teach soccer skills and character development using our curriculum
• Arrive 15 minutes early for setup and be prepared to coach
• Communicate positively with families, teachers, and staff
• Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols
• Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and the unique Soccer Shots energy

Requirements

• No soccer coach experience required; soccer playing experience is a bonus
• Ability to coach indoors/outdoors, move actively, and manage class energy
• Passionate about positively impacting students' lives and giving back to the community
• Energetic, engaging, and responsible
• Safety conscious

Pay

• Training pay: $20 per session (lasting about two weeks)
• After two weeks: base pay raise to $25 per session
• Direct pay raise levels up to $38 per hour
• Refer-a-friend bonus: cash bonus for referring a coach

Schedule

• You choose your schedule based on availability
• Weekday mornings: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
• Midday (site dependent): 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• Weekday afternoons: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
• Weekends: mornings, 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
• Coaches may work 5–25 sessions/week, depending on availability
