Responsibilities
- Interact with parents, directors, club board members, and children.
- Deliver energetic and enjoyable coaching sessions in line with Soccer Stars progressive curriculum.
- Report directly to the territory manager on all aspects of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Effectively engage and challenge all players, helping them achieve development goals and milestones.
- Inspire a love of soccer in a fun, team-based environment.
- Communicate effectively and clearly with the leadership team, approaching challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Be punctual to all training sessions and games, allowing sufficient time for commuting to class locations.
- Provide hands-on individual and group attention to players during training sessions.
- Identify and recommend players for advanced Soccer Stars United programming with the club.
Requirements
- Own reliable transportation and be willing to travel up to 45-minutes one-way to get to class locations.
- Commit to a 10-week season (September-Mid November).
- Be punctual, willing to learn, and accept feedback.
- Have a strong desire to work in a youth soccer club environment.
- Be motivated, energetic, patient, and attentive.
- Work with different age groups and be adaptable on the field.
- Possess a minimum of a grassroots coaching license.
- Availability must include one or more of the following: weekday evenings (5pm - 9pm), weekend mornings (8:30 am - 2 pm).
