Youth Soccer Coach - Girls Soccer Development Program

About the role

We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and kid-friendly soccer coaches to join our team. Our program is designed to engage young children from ages 18 months to 13 years, focusing on fun and progression from basic activities to competitive play.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in organized activities, games, and scrimmages
• Coach children from ages 2-5 and 6-14 in various levels of competition
• Work with children, parents, and fellow staff members
• Provide positive feedback and support to children and parents
• Develop soccer skills and game-like situations for older children

Requirements

• Passionate about working with and engaging young children
• Availability on weekday evenings (4pm - 8pm) and/or weekends (9am - 12pm)
• Reliable and professional
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality
• Able to be playful, fun, and imaginative with children
• Excellent communication skills
• High energy individual who is physically fit and able to coach for 2+ hours

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 2-5 and 6-14
• Experience coaching girls soccer
• Experience with other types of young child sports organizations or soccer environments
• Coaching certification (Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, etc.) is an asset

Benefits

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
