Youth Soccer Coach

The Role

Super Soccer Stars is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of coaches in our non-competitive soccer program catering to ages 2-12. As a coach, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of soccer enthusiasts.

Responsibilities

• Lead athletes in fun and educational activities
• Ensure safety for all participants
• Create a supportive and inclusive environment
• Foster a non-competitive atmosphere
• Provide individual attention to ensure every child feels included
• Encourage children to do better and celebrate success
• Work with children in various capacities (sports coach, teacher, camper, leader)
• Enjoy working with children and their energy
• Be open-minded and willing to learn and improve through feedback and training

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children
• Ability to provide individual attention to a small class
• Ability to foster a non-competitive environment
• Remain calm and use positive reinforcement
• Enjoy working with children and their energy
• Open-minded and willing to learn and improve

Benefits

• New Coaches earn $20/hr to start as Assistants, Head coaches $25/hr, with the potential to increase up to $45/hr

Schedule

The majority of classes are held during the after school hours and on weekends. The ideal candidate would have the availability on some of the days and times listed below:

• Monday-Friday (Times): 10:00-4:00
• Weekends: (Times) 9:00-12:00
• New Coaches can work *5-25 classes a week

Location

Classes are held across schools, parks, and recreational centers. Coaches are expected to travel up to 25-30 minutes to get to a class location.
