Youth Soccer Coach

The Role

Super Soccer Stars is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of coaches in our non-competitive soccer program catering to ages 2-12. As a coach, you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of soccer enthusiasts.

Responsibilities

• Lead athletes in fun and educational activities
• Ensure safety for all participants
• Create a supportive and inclusive environment
• Foster a non-competitive atmosphere
• Provide individual attention to ensure every child feels included
• Encourage children to do better and celebrate successes
• Use positive reinforcement to motivate children
• Work with children in various settings such as schools, parks, and recreational centers
• Travel up to 25-30 minutes to reach class locations

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children (sports coach, teacher, camper, or leader)
• An interest in pursuing early childhood education or child development
• Ability to remain calm and use positive reinforcement
• A willingness to work with children and enjoy their energy
• An open-minded approach to coaching as a continuous journey

Benefits

• New Coaches earn $18/hr to start as Assistants, Head coaches $25/hr, with potential to increase up to $40/hr

Schedule

The majority of classes are held during the after-school hours and on weekends. The ideal candidate would have availability on some of the days and times listed below:

• Monday-Friday: 10:00-4:00
• Weekends: 9:00-12:00

New Coaches can work 5-25 classes per week.

Location

Classes are held across schools, parks, and recreational centers. Coaches are expected to travel up to 25-30 minutes to reach a class location.
